Structured matrices field has lost one of the greatest experts on this field for almost 5 years. To respect his achievements, Georg Heinig’s colleagues have decided to set some sorts of Georg Heinig in Memoriam action.

 They stated that as one of the greatest structured matrices experts, Georg Heinig had some brilliant idea. His death in May 20th 2005 was a great blow to the structured matrices community.

 As the active member of the Integral Equations and Operator Theory journal, His writing is always a perfect guidance for the students. Georg Heinig was died in the age of 57 and leaved the field that still needed him.
