Some of us might not familiar enough with Georg Heinig’s name. He is one of the greatest structured matrices experts that they world have ever had. Too bad, the world could use his expertness for long times.

 Georg was found dead in his apartment in Kuwait, in the age of 57. It was happened on May20th 2005. The doctors concluded that the cause of death is the heart attack. He has been well known as the active member of the Integral Equations and Operator Theory journal.  

 His writing is always a perfect guidance for the students. In order to remember his great achievements in this field, his colleagues have decided to make some sorts of tribute to him.
